Fisherman encouragement saves life and environment

In east Indonesia, there are good fishing grounds. However daily life of local people is poor. One of the reasons is lack of education. Method of fishing is rough so 80% of catch is trashed due to freshness. Also, they don't care of environment because they don't know how dangerous destruction of the environment is. Presently, there are only two junior high schools in 250 islands. We are planning to increase them to more 25.

Collaboration with University of Muhammadiyah Makassar

We collaborate with Japanese embassy and manage to develop the curriculum necessary for local people. Our support is received by University of Muhammadiyah Makassar. This makes our support more efficient shown below.

Never force children to drink toxic water!

In advanced nation, drinking safe water is common. However, it is not common in Indonesia. Children in poverty must buy mineral water although they are poor. If they can't buy, they always get diarrhea and sometimes die. To save these children, the teachers of Institut Teknologi Bandung developed small cleaning bed. Special permission is also obtained by the university. We support this project to establish the bed in school. The bed cost about 19,000 dollar. We need your help!
