Children life in Sri Lanka
These children are promoted by education for foster children. We want to expand this activity and keep more smiles of children.
Maria Prency and her family backed from refugee camp to their hometown in 2010.
Her father was suddenly lost in seven years ago.
"He may be killed by LTTE"
The neighborhood says so. However, they believe he is alive and keep waiting in their hometown.
The house is restored by her uncle, but not so comfortable.
Her mother wants her to go to dormitory, but can't afford it. She is eagerly studies and her record is quite good.
We want keep her smile by promoting education.
Nishantha's father is a track driver. His workplace is far 100 km away from Nishanta's home.
So, he can meet his father only once in two months.
"I don't feel lonely because I can talk by cell phone"
He says so with old cell phone on his desk. He always keeps his record in 1st or 2nd ranking.
C.P.I's scholarship encourages him. He says
"In Sri Lanka, lots of people die by disease. I want to be a doctor and help these people"
